HAPPY SPRING TO YOU ALL!
First and foremost, my deepest apologies for not having an article in the previous newsletter. My
mother passed away after a lengthy stay in the hospital. I had many family issues to deal with and pretty much
put everything else on a back burner. A special THANK YOU to all of you for the Auxiliary Service in
Laurel, the Wake at the post, the beautiful bible presented to our family, the donation to John Hopkins in
memory of my mom, the many cards, phone calls and prayers. The support during this time will never be
forgotten by myself or my family. God Bless you all for your kindness!
Two renewal notices have been mailed from the National organization and I just mailed another notice
to all the members who still owe dues for 2010. We are at 79% and need 95 renewals or new members to
reach goal plus. We have prided ourselves in always achieving this goal and we need to accomplish this again
for President, Brenda Miller. Dues remain @ $17.00 for Seniors and $5.00 for Juniors (Under 18 years of
age). PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO ALA UNIT #206 and mail to American Legion
Auxiliary P.O. Box 353 Chesapeake Beach MD 20732. Please send your address changes, so that we can
update our records and so that you will continue to receive your National Magazine.
