July 18th Update:

We ended league play on a positive note winning over Mayo 6 to 2. The game was very well played and was attended by several Legionaries. It was great to see Jesse Reid out and about again. He saw his Grandson play his usual fine game.Special thanks to John Scherscinger and Shawn Tallant for cooking the hot dogs and spreading a lot of good cheer for our 4 Posts. We ended our league season with a record of 11 and 5 and overall 14 and 9 with 1 tie. We are now waiting for Severna Park to finish their season to see who wins the league title.

July 10th Update:

We have a double header this coming Sunday, July 12th, against Dewey Lowman and we
plan to serve hot dogs to the teams after the games. The games start at
noon at Hallowing Point Park. We will start cooking around 3:00. If a
member of your Post can give us a hand cooking the dogs please send me [Howard Booth]

July 7th Update:
July 1st we lost a lightning shortened game to Severn Park 5 to 2.
Thursday July 2nd was a very exciting game against Pasadena that we won
in the bottom of the 7th inning. This game had several Legionaries
including the County Commander attending. Next we went to the 4th of
July Blast at Bowie. Friday July 3rd we played 2 great games. The first
against the Severna Athletic Club we won 7 to 6 in the 7th inning and
then tied Western Howard County again in the finial inning of a time
shortened game 6 to 6. Early Sunday morning a different team showed up
and we lost games to the Black Barons and the Broadneck Warriors. Monday
we played Severna Park at HPP and won 9 to 7. Again we had several
Legionaries present. Our next game is at Hallowing Point Park on
Thursday, July 9th, at 7:00 PM against Mayo 226. It should be a good night for
baseball clear and about 70 degrees!

June 29th Update:
Our baseball team had a bad start but a good ending to the past week.
Wednesday we lost to Pasadena 277 at North County High School 9 to 1,
Saturday we won over Mayo 226 at Annapolis High School 8 to 3 and Sunday
we won two games over Dewey Lowman by the same score 14 to 2.
